People of Gujarat

Gujarat is a land of mixed religions. The Aryans, Bhils, and Kolis had formed a social standing in Gujarat. The medieval period also witnessed an influence of Islam and Zorastrianism in Gujarat. Other than these one can also find Kathis of the Peninsula of Kathiawar, Rabaris from Sindh and Marwar, Kutchis from the Peninsula of Kutch.

The way the Gujaratis dress is also very typical. While men wear dhoti and long or short coat, women usually wear a saree.
