Wild Ass Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the widest animal reserves existing in India. It has been declared protected land since the year 1972. It is also called as Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary as well and has its existence at Little Rann of Kutch. This wildlife park spread over the area of 4954 sq km is recognized as largest Wildlife sanctuary of India. This place is well known for protecting endangered species of Indian Wild Ass.

This sanctuary is approximately 45 km from Viramgam and 130 km from Ahmadabad. It is advisable to reach this sanctuary with private vehicle which has good ground clearance. However, government operates state transport buses for the convenience of people coming to this sanctuary.
